Today is Thanksgiving in my home country #4…L’America. So, I would like to “give my thanks” to ALL musicians in this country and worldwide who have been trying to be a positive, helpful, compassionate, loving, and caring force in their respective communities and nations for thousands of years.
Without a doubt, ALL people will agree that working musicians, including myself and my fellow members of Musicians For Musicians, Inc. – MFM, are ESSENTIAL WORKERS. We’re a particular workforce or business league that cares for people’s social-cultural-political wellness. We’re storytellers reminding them where we came from, what we’re going through NOW, and what could happen shortly.
So, all this said, let me thank the musicians’ community again for their excellent work, and I will continue to do so.
Let me end this message with my song “Tavalod” (“birthday” in Farsi. Release date: June 1995. Musicians: Sadato, aka SoSaLa, on soprano sax and vocals, Toshimaru Nakamura on guitar, Masaki Shimizu on fretless bass, and Ryo Kato on drums. Recording engineer and mixer: Martin Bisi. Recorded at BC Studios (Brooklyn))
I love you all.
In solidarity and music.
