1. Date: Saturday, November 16, 2013

Venue: Zeitgeist Multi-disciplinary Arts Center (618 Oretha Castle Haley Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70130, ph: 504-352-1150)
Tickets: $12 general / $10 Zeitgeist members & students

2. Date: Sunday, November 17, 2013
Time: 8pm to 11pm
Venue: Big Top (3 Ring Circus Arts Education Center, 1638 Clio St., New Orleans, LA 70130, 504-569-2700)
Tickets: $10

Opening act: AF the Naysayer

3. Date: Tuesday, November 19, 2013
Time: 10pm
Venue:  Open Ears Music @ The Blue Nile (532 Frenchmen St. New Orleans, LA).
Ticket: $10 suggested donation

The members are: Sohrab on sax and vocals,  Marcello Benetti on drums/percussion,  Joe Cabral on electric bass and Chris Alford on guitar.

SoSaLa is performing for the first time at the annual Dissident Arts Festival, a celebration of revolutionary free jazz, modern music, poetry and film, returns to Greenwich Village’s Brecht Forum for the fourth consecutive year. This year’s will be dedicated to Trayvon Martin and other victims of racist assault.

The Dissident Arts Festival serves as a conduit for progressive artists and other activists to gather and engage in an all-day concert commemorating the rich heritage of movement culture. The 2013 edition encompasses a tapestry of liberation jazz and new sounds.

The members are: Sohrab Saadat Ladjevardi on sax and vocals, Lautaro Burgos on drums & percussion,  Greg Zweiben on electric bass and John Pietaro on vibes.

Venue: Nublu (62 Ave C, between 4th and 5th Street in the Lower East Side)…
Ticket: $10…

SoSaLa will be playing a 90 minutes long set performing the hit songs from the new CD SoSaLa Nu World Trash: “Welcome New Iran”, “Sad Sake,” “Happy April Fool’s Day”, and new songs.
